These terms govern your use of the WaterlooMountain platform ("Platform"), operated by WaterlooMountain ("we," "us," "our") and accessible at zordaviqen.com. By accessing or using the Platform you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
WaterlooMountain is a free social entertainment platform. This is the single most important thing to understand about the service, and we state it prominently and repeatedly because the visual format of the Platform can superficially resemble real-money gaming.
All activity on the Platform uses Dragon Tokens — a virtual scoring mechanism with no monetary value of any kind. Dragon Tokens cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, converted, or redeemed. They are not a currency, a voucher, a store of value, or an asset. They exist only within the browser session in which they are accumulated and are lost permanently when the session ends.
The Platform does not accept payment of any kind. There are no premium features that cost money. There are no in-app purchases. There are no subscriptions. There is no mechanism by which you could spend money on or through this Platform even if you wished to do so.
The Platform does not offer prizes, rewards, cash, credit, merchandise, or any real-world benefit linked to gameplay outcomes. A high score on WaterlooMountain entitles you to nothing beyond the personal satisfaction of having achieved it.
The Platform is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, you must not use the Platform.
We display an age confirmation gate on your first visit. This gate uses a browser cookie and localStorage entry to record your confirmation for 180 days. The gate relies on honest self-identification. We do not verify ages through identity documents or third-party services, and we do not hold age-verification data.
If we have reason to believe that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to restrict access to the Platform for that user. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors' use of digital devices and should use appropriate parental controls to prevent access to this Platform by children.
British Columbia's age of majority is 19. We set our age gate at 18 in line with national standards for adult digital services. We encourage BC users who are 18 or 19 to engage carefully with the responsible-play information available on our Play Mindfully page.
WaterlooMountain is a social entertainment platform. It is not a draw, a entertainment platform, a skill-gaming operator, or any other form of regulated gaming or gambling service. We do not hold and do not require a licence under the Gaming Control Act of British Columbia or any other provincial, federal, or international gaming statute, because we do not conduct gaming or gambling as defined by those statutes.
The visual format of the Platform — playing grid displays, symbol matching, progressive tiers — is used purely for entertainment purposes and does not constitute "gaming" or "gambling" under any applicable Canadian definition, because no consideration (money or money's worth) is stakeed or exchanged, and no prize is available to be won.
If you are uncertain whether a platform you are using constitutes licensed gambling, the presence of any real-money stake, prize, or cash withdrawal mechanism is the key distinguishing feature. WaterlooMountain has none of these.
You may use the Platform for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only. By accessing the Platform you agree that you will not:
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who violates these terms, without notice and at our sole discretion. Given that the Platform does not use accounts, such restrictions operate at the network or device level and are limited in their practical effect — we rely primarily on users' good faith.
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to: the WaterlooMountain name and logo; all visual design elements; the Dragon Temple symbol artwork (jade coins, phoenix feathers, sacred pearls, FIRE tokens, and the Grand Fire token); the Cinzel and Manrope typeface selections and their application to our design system; the game mechanics, tier-progression logic, and score display system; all text, copy, and responsible-play resources; and all CSS, PHP, and JavaScript code authored by WaterlooMountain — is the intellectual property of WaterlooMountain and is protected by copyright law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal entertainment purposes as contemplated by these terms. Nothing in this licence transfers any ownership of intellectual property to you, and nothing permits you to copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent.
The Cinzel and Manrope typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font Licence. Bootstrap 5.3.3 is used under the MIT Licence. These licences apply to those components only and do not affect our intellectual property rights in the broader Platform.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of malicious software; that any defects will be corrected; or that the Platform or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WaterlooMountain and its officers, directors, employees, and contractors disclaim all liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Platform — including but not limited to loss of time, loss of data, or any claim related to the accuracy of any information on the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or related to these terms — regardless of the theory of liability — shall not exceed CAD $100. We recognise that this figure is nominal, but it reflects the fact that the Platform is free and that Dragon Tokens have no value.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
The Platform contains links to external websites (including the responsible-play organisations listed on our Play Mindfully page). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those external sites, and our inclusion of a link does not constitute an endorsement beyond the responsible-play context in which it is presented.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Statement and our Cookie Terms, which are incorporated into these terms by reference. Please read both documents before using the Platform.
In summary: we collect minimal data, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except our small number of processors (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, and conditionally Google Analytics). We comply with PIPEDA and BC PIPA. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings button at the bottom of any page.
We take our responsible-play obligations seriously. The Platform is a social entertainment product, but we acknowledge that its visual format carries responsibilities that we do not take lightly.

These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Platform, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia for the resolution of any dispute arising under these terms. If you are accessing the Platform from outside Canada, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remainder of the terms shall continue in full force and effect.
We may revise these terms at any time by posting an updated version to this page. Material changes will be accompanied by an updated version number and effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
